About me

It all started when I was 16 and my family got our first computer. A fire was lit inside of me that day, and I was never the same again.

In my eyes, tech offered limitless possibilities, which made me jump headlong into the world of software engineering and development. I kept challenging myself to not only thrive in the tech industry but to improve it. I constantly sought new ways to utilize my skills in various areas, from improving the local community in the City of Seattle, testing software at Intel, developing programs at my university, to finally progressing to a product manager at Microsoft. In achieving my ambitions, I harnessed the powers of networking and determination.

As I delved further into the tech industry, I noticed a gap in teaching new students how to thrive in the field. That’s why I now dedicate myself through my nonprofit organization Consider Tech to training high school and college students who want to pursue STEM careers. I also serve as a board member for the TAF Academy as I am passionate about improving the way the education system in the country works. I want anyone to see that they have a place in a STEM career, regardless of who they are.
